The Patriot Guard Riders are more than a counter-protest group! True, it was formed to combat the hatred of Fred Phelps and his ilk. And it always will perform that mission. Yet it has morphed into something more – a bunch of patriots who wish to pay their respects to a fallen hero and his/her family.

I am the Northern California coordinator and I am neither a vet nor a biker. Just a patriot with love for her country and military.

Mark, first of all, thanks for the promotion from third world county to third world countRy.

I’ve been trying to think “big” anyway…

Then, ya know this Phelps bunch really chaps my gizzard. They’re neither Christian nor Baptist. I’ve checked them out in the past, and they’re nothing but a nest of snakes. I’m very grateful for organizations like the Patriot Riders. And calling attention to them this way is a Very Good Thing, IMO.
